What the extension is

KDP Sentinel is an independent research tool that analyses publicly visible information on Amazon book pages you open, to help you research book niches. It is provided free of charge.

Not affiliated with Amazon

KDP Sentinel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. "Amazon", "Kindle", "KDP" and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

Estimates are not guarantees

Sales, revenue, demand and "sales-to-rank" figures are rough, modelled estimates derived from public best-seller-rank data. They can be inaccurate by a wide margin and are provided for relative comparison only. They are not financial advice, income projections, or guarantees of any outcome. You are solely responsible for your own publishing and business decisions.

Acceptable use

• Use the extension for your own lawful book-research purposes.
• Do not use it to violate Amazon's terms, or any applicable law.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the optional data service.

No warranty

The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Amazon changes its website frequently, which may cause parts of the extension to stop working until updated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KDP Sentinel and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the extension.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
